Team Legit, LLC, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established on June 12, 2023, with the mission of providing young female basketball players access to high-level competitive opportunities and skill development in the sport. Based in Braselton, Georgia, the organization caters to athletes from diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, primarily focusing on North and Central Gwinnett County. By fostering talent and providing vital resources, Team Legit aims to help players achieve their goals of playing basketball at the collegiate level.

Meet Our Coaches:

Coach Reece
A Memphis, TN native with a Varsity level high school basketball career. Graduate of Murray State University, where he coached intramural teams to a winning record. Currently serving as the program director for i9 Basketball in the North & Central Gwinnett area, now entering his second year with Team Legit and will coach the 7th grade & 9th grade teams.

Coach Ajee
A Raleigh, NC native and standout point guard, she played 4 years at the varsity level in high school. Earned NJCAA All-First Team honors at Southwest Tennessee before transferring to Murray State University, where she served as captain and starting guard. Currently an all-girls basketball trainer and entering her 2nd year with Team Legit and will coach with both the 7th grade & 9th grade teams.

Coach Bri - Assistant Coach / Athletic Trainer
Standout player for Mountain View High school. Coach Bri contributes valuable post-player expertise to the coaching staff. In addition to her coaching role, she also serves as the team’s athletic trainer, providing support for any injuries.
